Front & Rear MTB V-Brake Set
The Corki Cycles mountain bike V-brake set is a great option to completely replace and renew your old brake system. Every set features a front and rear brake arch as well as 2 pairs of 70mm pads. Each set includes the noodle, boot, mounting screws, and the front and rear V-brake arches, as well as 70mm brake pads.
On any bike, you want effective and responsive braking. The Corki Cycles MTB V-brake set was built to completely replace or update your present V-brake system. Our brake pads are designed to ensure quality braking in both wet and dry conditions. The brake pad is made from a long-lasting wear-resistant resin compound.
The Corki Cycles front and rear V-brake set are compatible with most mountain bikes. Always check your bike's compatibility as well as the fork to ensure a correct fit. This set doesn't include brake cables or levers.
To install remove your front and rear wheel before detaching the old V-brake system. Once you have detached spray some WD40 or similar after cleaning thoroughly. Firstly install the front V-brake arch onto your front forks. On your forks, there will already be the V brake mount. Secure the bolts to 95%. After the arch attachment to the forks, secure the brake pads, aligning with where the front wheel rim would be. Using either your old brake cable or a new one attach the noodle, feeding the brake cable through. Secure the brake cable by tightening the main bolt. Align and adjust the V-brake positioning as needed tightening completely. Install the front wheel and align the brake pads to the rim. Repeat for the rear V-brake.
